Delegates on cloud model accounts
Claude Code and Codex work can use a plain Anthropic or OpenAI API key, but not an Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex or Azure OpenAI account.

You can connect Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI and Azure OpenAI accounts. Workers use them for their own thinking. But a Claude Code or Codex delegate needs a plain API key in its environment, so it cannot run on those accounts. Bedrock serves Claude models only.
