Who pays for work
The payer is the source that pays for a piece of work: automatic, the requester's own plan or keys, the organization's keys, or Agent.

- Automatic: the first eligible payer in the model and account order.
- Requester: the person who asked for the work, with their own Claude or ChatGPT plan on their runner, or their own keys.
- Organization: the organization's model keys.
- Platform: Agent's own models, within the included allowance and budgets.
Fallback payerLink to Fallback payer
Allow a fallback payer when the selected payer cannot serve is on by default. Then other eligible payers may be tried within your policy. When it is off, no other payer is used and the work waits or fails.
Where to set itLink to Where to set it
On the Where work runs tab of Brain & Models. Only owners and admins can change it. The recommended setup picks Your own Claude or ChatGPT plan when you chose your computer and your runner signs in with a plan.
LimitsLink to Limits
Estimates in Agent are list-price estimates, not vendor bills. Your plan's own limits still apply.
