The runner is offline
Your computer shows Offline, or setup waits for your computer. Start the runner, check its sign-in, and check that runners are allowed.

- Runners are allowed. An owner or admin must allow runners and accept the vendor terms. Setup and Runners show this.
- The runner is approved. "Approved, not started" means you approved it but it does not run. When the browser page did not open, run
agent-runner loginagain and approve the code. - The runner runs. On macOS the installer starts it at every login. On Linux, run the
startcommand thatloginprinted. A computer that sleeps or is off shows Offline. - The runner is healthy. Run
agent-runner doctor. It shows each CLI, its sign-in, its sandbox and its network. - The CLIs are signed in. Run
claude auth login --claudeaiorcodex login.

The code expired or was mistyped. Run agent-runner login again.

When a runner was revoked, sign it in again with agent-runner login on that computer, then run agent-runner repo connect in each folder again.

The runner says when it is too old and how to update. Run the install command again to update.

In setup, select Continue without it. You can connect your computer later.
