Setup: AI access

Your CEO needs at least one model to think with. Use your own subscriptions, add an API key, or start on the included allowance.

Three ways to give your CEO a modelLink to Three ways to give your CEO a model

  1. Your subscriptions. When you chose your computer, Agent shows your Claude and ChatGPT sign-in state from your runner. A plan sign-in shows Signed in. An API key sign-in shows API key.
  2. An API key. Add an organization key for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter. Hosted work, such as the CEO's planning when your computer is off, can use it.
  3. The included allowance. When your Agent server offers one, it covers the first work. The page shows its state.

You need only one of these. The page says You're set when one works.

The subscription card shows a command to run on your computer:

  • Claude: claude auth login --claudeai
  • ChatGPT (Codex): codex login

The command opens the vendor's own sign-in page. Agent never asks for, reads or stores those logins.

Select the Provider, paste the API key and select Connect key. Agent checks the key with one free, read-only call before it saves it. The key is encrypted. Only its last four characters are shown again. The status is Works, Refused or Not checked.

The pill shows available, not limited, used up or unknown. When it is used up, add a key or use your subscription. See The included allowance.

You can select Continue anyway. Work then waits in the queue until you add a model. Add one later in Model accounts.
