How we work
Small. Written down. Shipped.
These are proposed working habits and hiring terms for the team. The owner still needs to confirm the roles and terms.
Ways of working
Six habits that keep us fast.
Engineers talk to customers
Whoever builds a feature hears the pain first hand. Fewer hand-offs means fewer wrong guesses.
Spec, build, validate
We plan with the people and agents who will do the work. We implement. We check the real outputs. We review once.
Decisions are written down
Each real choice goes in a log with its reason, so the next plan starts from what we learned.
Remote, with a written trail
Work is async by default. Notes, specs and the work log tell the story, so no one waits for a meeting.
Learn in public
We publish studies, changelogs and corrections. Being checked makes us better.
Use the product
We run the company with Agent’s own workers. If it is not good enough for us, it is not ready.
Engineering principles
How we build software.
Contracts first
Types are shared between client and server. If the contract is wrong, the compiler says so.
Test the seams
Fake the vendor. Never let a test call a real provider or a real CLI.
Expand, never break
Migrations only add. Released history never changes.
Cheapest route that works
A model, an effort level and a budget are chosen per step. We measure to find out what works.
Small and reversible
Ship in small units with a clear rollback, then verify on the real system.
What you get
Real ownership. Fair terms.
Salary and equity
Every person has both. The details come in the first call.
Remote first
Work where you do your best work. We meet when it helps.
The best tools
Top AI tools and accounts for every person, without a budget fight.
Real ownership
You own an area end to end and you see the result in production.
How we hire
Four steps. No surprises.
- 1
Intro call
30 minutes with a founder. We tell you where we are. You tell us what you want.
- 2
Work sample
A small, real task that fits the role. Paid. You choose a time that suits you.
- 3
Deep dive
You meet the people you would work with and go through the sample together.
- 4
Offer
A clear offer within a few days, with salary and equity set out in writing.
Be honest with yourself
This may not be for you if…
- You want a large team and a clear ladder.
- You prefer to hand off work you do not enjoy.
- You like to claim results you cannot show.
Come build with us.
Pick a role, or write to us about the one we have not thought of yet.
