What success looks like
- A task started on one provider finishes on another, with no one re-briefing it.
- Every run ends with a receipt: what ran, what passed, what it cost.
- The worker runtime stays fast and calm when a vendor has a bad day.
What you will do
- Design and build modules in the Express and Postgres backend, with typed contracts end to end.
- Turn a fuzzy goal into a plan with rails: executable checks that run every time.
- Own the full loop: spec, code, tests, release, and a look at the real output.
- Read traces and benchmarks, then change the harness to make the next run cheaper or more correct.
About you
- You have shipped and run a production backend. You can say what you cut and why.
- You treat tests and typed contracts as part of the feature, not a later step.
- You like model work, but you care more that the whole system keeps its promises.
Nice to have
- Queues, sandboxes or job runners
- LLM tool use and evaluation
- Postgres at the edge of its limits
